THE FUNCTION OF ICA512 IN TRANSGENIC MOUSE MODEL
The preliminary studies from our lab in cultured insulinoma
cells suggest
that ICA512 is a key signaling molecule that regulates insulin granule
biogenesis and secretion as well as β-cell proliferation in
relationship to glucose stimulation. Yanmei’s project is to
test the validity of this model in vivo
using the
mouse genetic model.
